AliceEdit

Alice débuts in the first episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Sophie Lowe. As a young girl, Alice traveled and had adventures in Wonderland, but upon returning home, her father suspects she has gone insane from her tales of tea parties and talking animals. In her determination to prove to him Wonderland is real, she journeys there once more at an older age and captures the White Rabbit as proof. While eluding capture from the Queen's guards, she meets, by chance, a genie named Cyrus. The two fall deeply in love, but are separated by his untimely death at the hands of the Red Queen. At a later time, she returns to Cyrus, who the White Rabbit claims is alive. ("Down the Rabbit Hole")

AmaraEdit

Amara débuts in the first episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Zuleikha Robinson. Back in Agrabah, she was a sorceress who introduced Jafar to magic. As he got powerful, he betrayed her and turned her into a golden snake, which he carries around ever since. When he comes to Wonderland in order to find a genie, he brings Amara in her staff form with him. ("The Serpent")

The Carpenter débuts in the sixth episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by John Prowse.

CaterpillarEdit

The Caterpillar débuts in the seventeenth episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time, and is voiced by Roger Daltrey on Once Upon a Time and Iggy Pop on Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. The Caterpillar is the first to notice Jefferson and the Evil Queen when they enter Wonderland. While reclining on a large mushroom, the Caterpillar smokes from a hookah and blows a cloud into their faces while asking, "Who are you?" Neither bother answering him; with Jefferson muttering, "I hate Wonderland", as they continue walking down the road. During her journey in Wonderland, Alice steals a piece of the mushroom from the Caterpillar. ("Hat Trick", "Down the Rabbit Hole")

Cheshire CatEdit

The Cheshire Cat débuts in the first episode of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is voiced by Keith David. When Alice was a small child, she befriends Cheshire. After the curse is broken, he has grown in size and looks to eat Alice after being promised by the Red Queen. Knave steps on his tail and then throws a mushroom at him, which Cheshire accidentally swallows. The mushroom shrinks him down to the size of a house cat and he flees. ("Down the Rabbit Hole")

ClaudeEdit

Claude débuts in the ninth episode of the second season of Once Upon a Time, and is portrayed by Paul Lazenby. He does not have a Storybrooke counterpart. Claude is originally a henchman who worked for the Evil Queen, but was killed by Hook in the Enchanted Forest. Hook is commissioned by her to go to Wonderland and kill the Queen of Hearts, but he ends up changing his agenda and working against the Evil Queen. As per the rule of using the hat to travel to another world, only the exact amount of people who enter into a land can leave it. Through this, Hook conspires to fake the death of the Queen of Hearts by bringing Claude's body as a replacement in Wonderland, which allows the Queen of Hearts to return to the Enchanted Forest to exact revenge on the Evil Queen for trying to kill her. CyrusEdit

Cyrus débuts in the first episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Peter Gadiot. He is a former native genie of Agrabah who spent an innumerable amount of years granting wishes to whomever opens his bottle. After he is wished away to a far off land by his last Agrabah master, Cyrus ends up in Wonderland until a young girl named Alice ventures in. He promises her three wishes, but the two end up falling in love. Alice decides against using the wishes and with no more use for the bottle, they bury it. Together, they travel to many lands and end up at the cliff of the Boiling Sea where Cyrus proposes to her, which she accepts. Their happiness is cut short by the intrusion of the Red Queen, who attempts to capture Cyrus, but he breaks free, so she uses magic to shove him off the cliff. To Alice, he seems to fall into the Boiling Sea and die, but as he passes through some smoke, Cyrus is saved by Jafar's magic carpet and taken prisoner in a lair. ("Down the Rabbit Hole")

Edwin débuts in the first episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Shaun Smyth.

Evil QueenEdit

The Evil Queen débuts in the first episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time, and is portrayed by Lana Parrilla. She is the Enchanted Forest counterpart of Regina Mills. As per a deal between her and Jefferson, the Queen promises to provide a rich childhood for his daughter Grace if he helps her take back a stolen item from the Queen of Hearts in Wonderland. In actuality, what the Queen of Hearts stole was the Queen's father Henry. Because of the rules of travelling between worlds, only the same amount of people who enter can leave. Thus, the Queen traps Jefferson while she goes home with her father. ("Hat Trick")

HookEdit

Hook débuts in the fourth episode of the second season of Once Upon a Time, and is portrayed by Colin O'Donoghue. He does not have a Storybrooke counterpart. Hook's services are commissioned by the Evil Queen in the Enchanted Forest kill the Queen of Hearts in Wonderland. Once there, he is taken before the Queen of Hearts. Hook boldly says he is looking for someone named Cora. At the mention of that name, the Queen of Hearts admits she is Cora and dismisses the Knave of Hearts and her courtiers from the audience. Once alone, she takes off her mask. Hook approaches to rip out Cora's heart as the Evil Queen requested, but he is unable to take it out. Cora mocks him for thinking she'd be naive enough to leave it there, and pulls out his heart to squeeze. At her mercy, Hook tells Cora who sent him to kill her. Cora bargains with him to help her return to the Enchanted Forest, and in return she will aide in his revenge towards Rumplestiltskin, which Hook agrees to. ("Queen of Hearts")

The Jabberwocky débuts in the ninth episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Peta Sergeant.

JackEdit

Jack débuts in the sixth episode of the second season of Once Upon a Time, and is portrayed by Cassidy Freeman. She does not have a Storybrooke counterpart. Jack is a visitor to Wonderland, and at one point saved a village of people from a beast known as the Jabberwock. As thanks, she receives from a "wise old woman" a magical mushroom.[1] ("Tiny")

JafarEdit

Jafar débuts in the first episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Naveen Andrews. He is a native sorcerer of Agrabah searching for a genie named Cyrus. However close Jafar gets to attaining him, Cyrus' latest master uses his last wish to send the genie to a far off land. Eventually, he tracks Cyrus down to Wonderland. In a ploy with the Red Queen, they fake Cyrus' death while Jafar takes him prisoner. To find Cyrus' bottle, Alice is drawn back into Wonderland and manipulated into unearthing it. Nonetheless, Alice gives out a false location on purpose, though the Red Queen learns from the White Rabbit the true burial site and takes the bottle for herself. Knave of Hearts (Once Upon a Time)Edit

The Knave of Hearts débuts in the seventeenth episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time, and is portrayed by Paul McGillion. He does not have a counterpart. The Knave of Hearts leads the Wonderland guards in chasing down the Evil Queen and Jefferson when they steal something from the Queen of Hearts' vault. He is unsuccessful in catching the Evil Queen as she promptly leaves through a portal, but Jefferson is captured and taken before the audience of the Queen of Hearts. From a long tube, the Queen of Hearts communicates to the Knave what she wants him to ask the man. In her stead, he asks how he came to Wonderland. After some explanations about a magic portal-jumping hat, the Knave instructs Jefferson he must make another one. Though Jefferson doesn't think it will work properly in Wonderland, the Knave insists it's his duty to make it work. Later on, another outsider, Hook, is also taken before the audience of the Queen. When she wishes to be left alone to speak with Hook, she dismisses the Knave and her courtiers. ("Hat Trick", "Queen of Hearts")

Knave of Hearts (Once Upon a Time in Wonderland)Edit

Will Scarlet, better known as the Knave of Hearts, débuts in the third episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Michael Socha. ("Forget Me Not")

Lizard débuts in the fourth episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Lauren McKnight.

Mad HatterEdit

The Mad Hatter débuts in the seventeenth episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time, and is portrayed by Sebastian Stan. He is the Enchanted Forest counterpart of Jefferson. The Mad Hatter, also commonly known as Jefferson, he and the Regina travel to Wonderland so she can get back something the Queen of Hearts once stole from her. He makes this deal in the hopes Regina can keep her end of the bargain so his daughter Grace can be given a happier childhood. Once Regina retrieves the stolen item in a box, Jefferson ushers her to hurry so they can return to the Enchanted Forest. Instead, she plucks a piece of magical growth mushroom and puts it into the box. From this, Jefferson realizes what the Queen of Hearts stole was an actual living person; namely Regina's father Henry. Regina goes home with her father while leaving Jefferson trapped in Wonderland due to the rules of portal-jumping that only allow the same amount of people to leave as the same amount to enter. The guards arrive to take Jefferson to the Queen of Hearts where he explains Regina took his portal hat, so there's no way to go home. The Queen of Hearts commands him to create another one. As Jefferson spends his time in Wonderland, he becomes obsessed with making hats and is driven mad in doing so. ("Hat Trick")

Mrs. RabbitEdit

Mrs. Rabbit débuts in the eighth episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is voiced by Whoopi Goldberg.

NyxEdit

Old PrisonerEdit

The Old Prisoner, formerly known as the Sultan, débuts in the second episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Brian George and Amir Arison.

Queen of HeartsEdit

The Queen of Hearts débuts in the seventeenth episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time, and is portrayed by Barbara Hershey and Jennifer Koenig. She does not have a counterpart. The Queen of Hearts is the ruler of Wonderland and dislikes outsiders. At some point, she steals something precious from the Evil Queen. From the former portal-jumper Jefferson, the Evil Queen journeys to Wonderland with him to retrieve what the Queen of Hearts took from her and leaves for home. Jefferson is left behind and taken by Wonderland's guards to the Queen of Hearts. From her throne seat, the Queen of Hearts communicates to the Knave of Hearts to ask in her stead who and what Jefferson is doing in her land. Because the Evil Queen took his portal-jumping hat, he has no way of using magic to return home. The Queen of Hearts orders for him to make another one, and the guards haul him off to do so. Later, the Queen of Hearts sees another person breach Wonderland. Again, he is brought to answer the Queen of Hearts, though she asks to speak with him privately. When the man, Hook exhibits knowledge about her true identity, she takes off her mask to reveal herself. Hook attempts to rip out her heart, but is unable to. Instead, she pulls out his and begins squeezing it until he admits who sent him to kill her. The Queen of Hearts and Hook join as allies and return to the Enchanted Forest. Red KingEdit

The Red King débuts in the fifth episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Garwin Sanford.

Red QueenEdit

The Red Queen débuts in the first episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Emma Rigby. In another time, she is ruler of Wonderland. In a ploy with Jafar, the plotted to separate a genie, Cyrus, from his loved one, Alice, and use him for their own means. To gain Cyrus' bottle, Alice is lured into unearthing it and use up her three wishes so another person may gain control of the genie. However, the Red Queen learns the true location of the bottle and sends Jafar out on a false lead while she takes it for herself. ("Down the Rabbit Hole", "Trust Me")

SilvermistEdit

Silvermist débuts in the second episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Jordana Largy. She is a fairy who helps assist people over the river to Mimsy Meadows, but has a bad history with Knave. In mid-air, she drops Knave into the water as payback without realizing he can't swim. Silvermist plans on turning him in to the Caterpillar for his past crimes in Wonderland, but lets him and Alice go after he gives a sincere and heartfelt apology. ("Trust Me")

TweedledeeEdit

TweedledumEdit

Tweedledum débuts in the first episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Ben Cotton.

ValetEdit

The Valet débuts in the second episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time, and is portrayed by Tony Perez. He does not have a counterpart. The Valet, also commonly known as Henry, is kidnapped by the Queen of Hearts and taken to Wonderland. Shrunken into a small form, he is placed into a vault box. To rescue him, his daughter Regina receives help from the Mad Hatter to travel to Wonderland by the use of a special portal-jumping hat. Once there, Regina easily paves a path to the vault and extracts her miniature sized father from one of the boxes. Unbeknownst to the Mad Hatter, he believed Regina took back a stolen item, but instead realizes it is a person when she uses a growth mushroom to restore her father back to normal size. Due to the rule of the hat, only the same amount of people who enter a world can leave. Therefore, Regina traps the Mad Hatter while she goes home with her father. ("Hat Trick")

White KnightEdit

The White Knight débuts in the tenth episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Benjamin Wilkinson. ("Dirty Little Secrets")

White RabbitEdit

The White Rabbit débuts in the first episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is voiced by John Lithgow. When threatened by the Red Queen, he is forced to draw Alice back to Wonderland with claims Cyrus is alive and waiting for her at the Mad Hatter's house. Though the White Rabbit gives off the pretense of being an ally to Alice and Knave, the White Rabbit's own life is dependent on his continued assistance to the Red Queen. ("Down the Rabbit Hole")

Will ScarletEdit

Will Scarlet, also known as the Knave of Hearts, débuts in the first episode of the first season of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, and is portrayed by Michael Socha. He is a former inhabitant of Wonderland and has since escaped from the world where he is wanted for many terrible crimes, but is forced to go along with Alice of an owed debt to her. By her word, she promises to give him one of three wishes if he helps find Cyrus, so Knave goes along with the plan. ("Down the Rabbit Hole")
